I'm Amanda Dillon
Welcome! I’m Amanda Dillon of Mettle Modern Design, Deep South Shelling, and Amanda Dillon Art. I am a coastal crafter from Navarre, Florida, and I teach women how to create beautiful glass and resin crafts and upcycled art.
I am mom to three beautiful young women, a dog and cat mom, and a former military spouse. I grew my craft business after years on disability for severe Crohn's Disease. I have worked really hard to build a comeback story, mostly to inspire my daughters to live their best lives no matter their circumstances. I've inspired a few online friends along the way who now have thriving craft businesses of their own!
I grew up in Alabama, and lived in Atlanta and the Washington DC area before "retiring" to Florida. I love the beach, the salt air, and the slow pace of life in a small beach town. Thanks for stopping by, and hope to see you inside!
